Enrichment 2024/25

Our enrichment programme for 2024/25 will look a little different. There will be one main period, where learners will attend their chosen session, and another period throughout the week will be independent enrichment - this could be volunteering, work experience or online courses.

The programme is designed to be varied, with previous sessions such as EPQ, young enterprise and core maths continuing to run. With the addition of a shift of focus to wellbeing, we are hoping to run a knitting/craft classes as well as mindfulness and yoga sessions. We will also introduce subject mentor positions where learners can work in departments around school, assisting with planning and delivering lessons, and interventions. We are always open to new suggestions too!

BG6 societies will be launched in September. Run by learners for learners, with a focus on working together, building connections and exploring their passions. Some societies ready to launch are:

  • Medicine and Medical Ethics
  • Dentistry
  • STEM
  • Origami
  • Cross stitch
  • Anime
  • History
  • Pop culture
  • True crime
  • Formula 1
