Batley Girls’

Sixth Form College

An innovative, engaging sixth form experience.

Set in an engaging and nurturing environment, our BG6 students enjoy an enriched learning experience that has been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted . With innovative science and maths learning space, progressive teaching and strong pastoral care, sixth form students are enabled to deepen their knowledge and explore their futures.

Our aim is to help our students find their voice and place in the world, and to prepare them for the life they choose to lead.

This experience is strengthened by the role we play in our community. As the founder of the Batley Multi Academy Trust, we are recognised as valuable contributors and influencers in education who work in strategic partnership with a family of schools locally and benefit from strong links with local institutions offering higher education.

“As a BG6 student at Batley Girls’ Sixth Form College, you will be joining an aspirational and ambitious community of young women, who are supported in their learning journey by an inspirational and dedicated team of staff. This is a sixth form college where outstanding learning takes place, where student voice is central and where we enable all of our students to have a full and varied educational experience. We look forward to working with you throughout this important stage of your educational journey and sharing in your success .”
