Batley Girls’

Sixth Form College

Enrichment Programme

We know education doesn’t start and end in the classroom. All our students join our Enrichment Programme, which offers our BG6 students the opportunity to build new skills to take on to university or into the workplace.

The programme promotes giving back to the local community through volunteering – something we are committed to as a school. Students are encouraged to push themselves to learn new skills, inside and outside the classroom, or expand their horizons through travel on our annual international trips to destinations such as Barcelona, Berlin and New York.

Our amazing teaching staff, and some outside providers, deliver the courses on offer, and students spend two hours a week (on Wednesday afternoons) enhancing their BG6 experience.

Our Enrichment Programme includes an extensive range of fantastic activities so students are able to tailor their choices to suit their needs and preferences...
